Brian Lokker created and designed Annikala Review as a home for articles he’s been writing and publishing online for the past decade and a half.
Brian writes about movies, books, sports, travel, and more. Most of his articles are history-oriented.
For over ten years, Brian published a website devoted to coffee topics called Coffee Crossroads. Some of the articles he originally published on that site have been incorporated into this site.
He has also written articles about the New York Giants football team for Sports Illustrated’s si.com website and pieces on a range of subjects for several online channels in the Arena Group network.
Brian holds degrees in English from Duke University and the University of Michigan and a law degree from Rutgers University.
He was an attorney in New Jersey for 25 years. After retiring from law practice, he began a second career as a website designer. He also taught a writing course at New York University for several years.
Brian lives in Bethesda, Maryland, with his wife, Laura, a psychologist. They have three adult children.
